Michael’s practice is built on collaboration with the many brands, creators, clients and co-conspirators he works alongside…

Then again

…those folks actually wanted that almost-awkwardly-close relationship.

From giddily maximalist to shockingly spare, Michael's work balances the obviously ridiculous with the barely subtle. His practice blends branding, design and illustration across an eclectic smorgasbord of clients and causes.

Whether working with artists at Marz Community Brewing Co. and Materiel Magazine, early stage buddies Capsule, Cerebelly and Marlow or his more established friends at The New York Times, MetLife and Sotheby’s – collaborative process is at the heart of Michael's work.

Despite his best efforts, Michael is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and is the co-founder and creative director of Franklyn,a design studio in New York. He was as surprised as you were to learn he'd received the ADC Young Guns and New Visual Artists awards, recognizing the world’s top creatives under the age of 30.

His work is enabled by his incredible team and the wonderfully talented assembly of creators in his orbit. A few of them are listed below.
